Sarita Mannigel, Human Resource Director · Food Fight

Sarita Mannigel was born in Puerto Rico and relocated to Chicago in 1995. After 20 years working in Chicago Sarita moved to Madison in 2015. Sarita has always had a connection to the restaurant industry. Her family owned restaurants when she was growing up, and her first job was working at Pizza Hut. Sarita is a Masters prepared Senior Human Resource professional with extensive experience positively impacting organizational performance through business operations, systems management, and business transformation. Her years of experience extend across all aspects of management including process improvement, organizational effectiveness, effective communication practices and sustainability. Sarita enjoys being part of the Food Fight team because she has the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people working in many different types of restaurants. “It is the people that are involved who make the customer experience memorable. The diversity and culture differences truly make the restaurant industry unique. I like seeing the passion that each individual possess and the joy they get from making their customers have a phenomenal experience.” Sarita’s vision for Food Fight is to continue expanding employee benefits, improve employee development and the recruiting process, and set standards for performance management process. “I am excited for the opportunity to work with an outstanding executive team that truly cares about their business, employees, and customers. Also, the impact that we have on the local Madison community is truly an amazing and fulfilling experience.” When Sarita is not busy managing Human Resources for Food Fight, she enjoys dining at the wide variety of Food Fight restaurants in the Madison area. She also likes spending time outdoors going camping and boating with her family. Sarita also likes to travel back home to see family and friends in Puerto Rico.
