Despite having a marketing degree from Edgewood College, Ben Kosmatka has been working in restaurants for more than a decade because he loves it. The Milwaukee native got into the business because he "wanted to make good money by making people happy," he says. Along the way, Ben has made people happy in a number of roles: as a server, a bartender, shift manager, and assistant general manager...and has always enjoyed working for Food Fight. "They treat you like you matter regardless of what position you hold," he says. "They've helped me to develop my career and show me the restaurant industry from all different perspectives." Ben loves the restaurant environment because it's a "laid-back atmosphere where people go to relax and escape from work life," he says, adding that his fellow restaurant people are the ones who make it happen: "They are upbeat and always looking for ways to satisfy the guests."
