Dylan Freund, General Manager · Luigi's Pizza

Dylan Freund is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and started working in the restaurant industry in the same manner that many young people do. “I was literally broke and needed a job. My Uncle loaned me money for gas to go find a job. I applied at Red Lobster and was hired on the spot. I said ‘That's great! What am I going to be doing?’ They said ‘You're a server.’ The rest is history.” Dylan has been managing restaurants in a variety of roles for almost a decade. He has also owned his own moving company and has a degree in Business. He loves working in the restaurant industry. Dylan says his favorite thing about working for Food Fight is the great balance of operational support and independent flexibility. “For me, it is all about the people. I love my staff and the guests that come into the restaurant. I also have always viewed the restaurants that I work in as businesses as well as restaurants so I like to get into the technical operations and strategize how to positively impact efficiency. Another thing that I really enjoy is the ever-changing work environment. I never do the same thing every day and it makes the time fly by.” Dylan enjoys working as a General Manager in Food Fight. He feels supported in a variety of areas with corporate insight but still has the ability to make changes quickly as he sees needed. “When I am not working I love spending time with my beautiful wife Lindsay who is also a Food Fight manager. We have our daughter Kaylee who is our world and keeps us really busy. We also have have a dog named Keira who is a big fuzzy princess. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends.”
