Brian Johnson, General Manager · Eldorado Grill

Brian Johnson is originally from the Madison area and has worked more than 35 years in the restaurant industry. “My family still owns and operates Coachman's Golf Resort which is a golf course and restaurant in the Stoughton area. I started following my father to work at a very young age and became intrigued by all the aspects of the restaurant, from cooking to bus-boy, bartending and even accounting, I eventually worked all of those positions.” When Brian got older he left the family business and re-opened Halverson's restaurant where he was a part owner and General Manager for five years. Brian left Halverson's to become the General Manager at The Madison Club and was instrumental in returning the club to profitability over his six years there. After the Madison Club, Brian went to work for Marcus Hotels and Resorts for nine years where he held a variety of positions from General Manager at Brynwood CC to Food and Beverage Director at the Pfister Hotel. The last two years before joining Food Fight Brian was the Corporate Director of the Food & Beverage Task Force. “What I like about working in the service industry is that no day is the same and there are always new challenges. Being a part of the wide variety of people and backgrounds all working together to provide great customer experience is very rewarding. I am always continuing to look for ways to improve and grow, and that's what really attracted me to Food Fight. I love the people I work with. From the CEO all the way on down they are just genuine, professional, and nice people.” Brian lives with his girlfriend Amy in Stoughton with their two year old German Shepard Amala. When he isn’t busy at the restaurant he enjoys golf, downhill skiing and Kayaking.
