Alyssa Davidson, Assistant General Manager · Craftsman Table and Tap

Alyssa is from Pardeeville, WI and studied Business Management at UW-Milwaukee. She always knew she wanted to work in the service industry and has spent more than 13 years doing so. She started her career as a host and an expo at a restaurant in Wisconsin Dells and became a server when she turned 18. She has also worked as a bartender and a prep cook before moving into management. “For me, the biggest part of being a manager is being someone that everyone knows they can count on. I love to challenge myself and my staff to be the best we can be. I feel like a great manager and coach pushes their employees to always be accepting of new challenges and experiences. I also enjoy the person to person aspect of the business and I love to constantly be moving.” Alyssa likes working with restaurant people because she says they truly enjoy their jobs and they really care about their guests. She enjoys the large network of passionate people she gets to know and work with in the Madison restaurant scene. When she isn’t busy working, Alyssa loves to spend time in the great outdoors. “I like to spend my summers hiking, camping and backpacking. I spent the last summer working at Yellowstone National Park and backpacking throughout Utah. I love discovering new hidden spots and sharing them with friends. I also love the music scene and enjoy taking photos of my musician friends doing awesome stuff. I love discovering new bands and music, especially in the Madison area. I'm very shy at first as I get to grasp other people’s personalities, but I open up real fast and really enjoy the vast network of friends I have throughout Madison.”
